I just received a hesitant email from a nice woman who described her startling situation to me over the phone. She lives out West. I’m all the way over in Connecticut. The lady in her mid 30’s had lots to say on her initial email. Health issues and compiling stress. It all took a hard toll on her. It’s not uncommon to hear these things coming from people. She left her number, so I called her up.

She and I spoke for an hour. I was uncertain where to go with her situation. It didn’t sound like there was a severe issue. While she went into detail, I thought to myself, she’s just got serious angst mixed with worry, trauma, exhaustion, slight health problems, compounded by her belief in angels and demons. I simply thought, with all those range of feelings and other things, she hypnotized herself into believing she’s outright possessed. 

I’m not in this to take her money or anyone’s money. I like to earn my money. But she insisted that I pay her a visit. If I didn’t see her, she told me she was going to fly to Rome to look for an exorcism which would have been twice the costly trip than if I paid her a visit. There would have been no need for that. I was shocked that she would go so far. But I’m an astute observer concerning symptoms. 

If she thinks the Catholic Church is just going to get her an exorcism, because she’s hallucinating, she’s thoroughly misguided. They’d figure it out on their own that she’s got a cocktail of other problems going on upstairs. It’s not easy to convince the Archdiocese that an exorcism is warranted. I knew they would never approve an exorcism. She displayed none of the signs and they’re really good at picking up the tells as well.

The looming problem is that she needs me to fly out or she’ll spend a trillion dollars going to Rome and waste her money. I couldn’t convince her, without being forceful, that she was simply in a bad place in her life. But she won. However, I told her, I can’t afford to travel to Oregan and not be reimbursed for all my time. 

My trade hallmark is that if I do not eliminate a demonic entity from either a person or a property, then they pay me nothing. That’s my guarantee. I stand by that principle. Since I had serious reservations, on the condition that I go for observation, she would have to guarantee that she would pay me the arranged payment amount no matter what. I hope I’m wrong about my assertion of her situation. 

Let’s hope my being there will invigorate her. I already know it’s going to go the wrong way. I have more than a hunch. I envision sometime as the future draws nearer, I will be given a call from her to have her bring me out. I’m hoping there’s some sort of savagery within her that shouldn’t be there. I’d feel much better if there were.
